Course Offerings
Kindergarten spans from Pre KG to KG2. The curriculum has been designed keeping in mind the 21st century learner and is a harmonious blend of best practices used in early year’s settings. The curriculum gives opportunity for purposeful play, group and individual activities, thus fostering independence and helping children develop social skills and skills for collaborative learning. An inquiry based approach helps awaken children’s natural curiosity enabling them to give direction to their own learning. Our classrooms offer a holistic learning experience that integrates socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development in dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration. Students build their conceptual understandings in Language Arts, Math and Units of Inquiry through a transdisciplinary approach. Sessions offering physical education, yoga, meditation, art and craft, music, eurhythmics, rhymes and stories, life skill, and value education provide the balance needed to ensure students’ physical, social, emotional wellbeing is taken care off through thoughtfully integrated learning engagements. Our International mindedness sessions promote deeper understanding and acceptance of one’s own and other cultures. Students learn to be open-minded, accepting and respectful of others, celebrating diversity through modelling internationally-minded values and dispositions. Our curriculum ensures students are active in the learning process and have a solid foundation for future learning.
