Celebrating 35 Years
Past and present students sing the praises of GEMS Modern Academy as it celebrates 35 years of excellence
GEMS Modern Academy students and staff, led by Principal Nargish Khambatta, welcomed back dozens of alumni to take a heart-warming, inspirational trip down memory lane as the school marked its 35th anniversary. The festivities featured a special performance of a song from one of the school’s celebrated musical productions from 1986 delivered by a choir made up of former students. Ms Khambatta told the gathering: “Through all this change, the one thing that has remained constant is our profound sense of gratitude for the relationships that we, as Modernites, have nurtured for the past 35 years. Modern is now a living, vibrant, global learning ecosystem that inspires children to be positive and sustainable change-makers.”
